Bright Eyes to Bring Five Dice, All Threes to The Salt Shed

Indie rock veterans Bright Eyes are making their way to The Salt Shed on Saturday, April 5, in support of their latest album, Five Dice, All Threes. The record, which the Associated Press calls “intimate yet anthemic — catchy and engaging,” features guest appearances from Cat Power, The National’s Matt Berninger, and The So So Glos’ Alex Levine and continues the band’s signature blend of emotional intensity and sweeping ambition.

Self-produced and recorded in Omaha, Five Dice, All Threes marks Bright Eyes’ tenth studio album and a testament to the band’s ever-evolving artistry. The album balances moments of quiet vulnerability with full-band catharsis, threading Oberst’s unmistakable lyricism through lush, orchestral arrangements. Longtime fans will recognize the band’s signature heart-wrenching storytelling, while newcomers will find an album that feels immediate and deeply resonant.

With nearly three decades behind them, Conor Oberst, Mike Mogis, and Nathaniel Walcott have built a legacy of poetic lyricism and deeply affecting songwriting. This limited spring tour sees the band playing a handful of iconic venues, including Pabst Theater in Milwaukee, First Avenue in Minneapolis, and White Oak Music Hall in Houston, before heading south for Corona Capital Guadalajara.

Chicago fans won’t want to miss the chance to see Bright Eyes at one of the city’s most exciting new venues. Tickets are on sale now—grab yours here.

WIIT will have resident Bright Eyes aficionados in attendance, capturing the night through live photography and a full concert write-up.
